Spring 1
This term, we’ve explored Wild Weather by Usborne, linking it to our geography lessons on extreme Earth phenomena like erupting volcanoes, raging storms, tsunamis, and earthquakes. We’ve learned how these events impact both the environment and people around the world. In maths, we've covered essential skills like number, place value, weight, shapes, and multiplication. In science, we've modeled the solar system, studied day and night and explored the moon's phases. We’ve also had fun with woodland activities, building dens, hammocks, and making our own fires to roast marshmallows. It’s been an exciting, hands-on term!
We have also celebrated Chinese New Year and had a trip to Eureka.
