Autumn 2- Festivals/Celebrations

 

Eagle class have been learning all about the different festivals and celebrations which happen at this time of year. 

First we learnt about and explored Diwali- the festival of light. Then we learnt about Bonfire Night and what happens each year on this date. Our next festival was all about Halloween- we loved to dress up scary and take part within lots of fun activities within the day and finished off with a Halloween party! And lastly, the festival of Christmas! We have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Christmas and made lots of Christmas crafts. We visited Barton Grange Garden Centre on our educational visit to explore the Christmas decorations and lights, the pupils had the best time!
