Autumn 1
Wren Class have been learning about Vikings as our History topic. We linked our class story to this theme and have been reading 'The Viking who liked Icing' which is a really fun story that allowed for lots of role play and sensory exploration. We dressed up as the main characters, played with the swords and shields and baked cakes.
In Science, we have been learning about Space. We have watched educational videos, learned about the names of the planets and the order they appear from the sun. We have used torches to make glow in the dark stars light up, scrunched up foil to make asteroids and took part in a variety of sensory and creative activities.
