Trauma and Attachment
Here at White Ash Primary School we are looking forward to developing our skills as part of the attachment and trauma training over the academic year 2025-26. It will provide the staff with the knowledge and tools to understand the underlying causes of behaviours presented,
by recognising that behaviour often communicates unmet needs or emotional distress. Through this knowledge teachers will be able to respond more effectively, fostering a nurturing environment that supports both learning and emotional well-being. The programme will equip us with essential strategies to understand and support vulnerable children, improve attendance, reduce exclusions, and boost academic engagement.
