Accrington Stanley T-shirt Giveaway - September
On the 23rd September, our Year 3 pupils were invited to Accrington Stanley’s ‘Big Shirt give away.’ We were super excited and set off in the bus. When we arrived, we met Steve Lord who taught us an Accrington Stanley Chant – ‘WE are the reds, we are the reds, we are , we are , we are the reds!” We were then handed goodie bags which contained lots of fun things - a fidget toy to keep us busy, a lunch box, a bottle of water and a piece of fruit to help keep us healthy. We then met all of the Accrington Stanley football players who handed us our very own football shirts. Once we had our shirts, we were guided round to the football pitch. On our way there, we met Accrington Stanley’s mascot, his name is Winstanley. We gave him a high five or a cuddle. Then we saw the football pitch, it was so big!, We got to sit in the stands and wait for our picture to be taken with our White Ash Primary school sign. We then jumped back on the bus and continued to sing “we are the reds!” what a lovely trip- A big thank you to Accrington Stanley.
Dance - 25th November 2025
Some of our Year 1/2 pupils went to Acorns SEN Primary School to take part within a dance event. The children had lots of fun using different props to carry out different movements. The children rotated around the different stations to experience a different way of moving their bodies. The children had a great morning. Big thank you to Acorns!
