Based at Spring Vale Farm in Green Haworth our pupils have been given the opportunity to take part in equine and farm-based activities which will include touch, smell, breathing with the horse and grooming the horse in its stable.
These experiences develop social and communication skills, build resilience and positively impact emotional regulation. We have seen increased ability to follow instructions, alongside making and communicating choices. Pupils showing more willingness to new experiences.
The children have such a fantastic time, always full of smiles.
